L.A Girl Pro. Concealer

L.A Girl Pro. Conceal HD Concealer.

I picked these up quite awhile ago and in my kit along with my own makeup collection.
These babies are a must have in anyone's makeup stash!!!

So L.A Girl is an American brand that have been around for quite awhile but are super cheap and great products.

The Pro. conceal HD Concealer is a great little product.
They give a natural finish to the skin but are also light weight so you're not left with a cakey look on the face. They hide inperfections, fine lines and wrinkles.

As you can see they are a pen like shape. The top of the concealer has a brush so it's super easy to apply and saves any waste when using them.
These are they shades I use the most
Top - Bottom Porcelain, Classic Ivory, Warm Honey.

The Porcelain is the shade I use to highlight when contouring and highlighting.
Classic Ivory is perfect for when concealing over or under foundation because of the under tone is hides any dark circles.
The Warm Honey is the shade I use to Contour  also.

When using these I either blend them out with a makeup brush ( kabuki ) or a beauty blender. They blend so easily because the product is so light. Then I set with powder products or a setting spray depending on the look I'm going for, and they literally DO NOT BUDGE from my face ALL day. No creasing, separating or changing in colour which is great for contouring and highlighting.

They come in lots of different shades and you can even colour correct with the shades available.

Sadly pharmacys and the likes don't actually stock L.A Girl so they are more of an online purchase.... But don't worry I have prices and a link if anyone wants to pick some up.

TRNDbeauty stock them for €6.80 along with all the shades. So there is a colour to suit every shade and use on TRNDbeauty :)

If you are lucky enough to be heading to the states you will find them in most cosmetic stores and a little cheaper so stock up!!

Have you tried or picked any of these up? If so let me know what you thought of them :)

Soft Gold Spotlight Eye Makeup Look

So it's that time of the week again..... Tutorial Tuesday!!! Over on Snapchat I do a step by step guide on how to create a makeup look.
This week I done a soft gold spotlight eye look, a long with using some of the products I had picked up last week from Collection and Natural Collection cosmetics.

Here is the look I created

So here's a run down of the products, brushes and a guide as to where they went.

                                                                       Brows:

Inglot Brow Gel no.15 and I applied that with an Inglot 17TL Brush

Eyes:

I applied Natural Collection White Opal under brow from the arch to the tail. Using Blank Canvas Cosmetics E23 brush (small pointed pencil shaped brush)

Inglot 335 for the transition shade which was applied just above crease using an Inglot 6SS brush and then blended into the lower lash line also

Then into the crease I used Inglot 326 using Nima Patricia brush ( small dense fluffy brush)
Once that was applied I then blended everything out using a clean Inglot 6SS brush

On the outer corners of the eyes I applied Inglot 306 in a V shape using the same Nima Brush Patricia and blending that out with the same clean 6SS Inglot brush
I applied this into the lower lash line using a Blank Canvas Cosmetics E23 brush

Using a flat shaped brush I applied Inglot 357 to the inner corners of the eyes

Using the same flat brush I packed Fuschia's white shadow in the shade 256 to the centre of the lid

Then applying the Natural Collection Barley over the white shadow in the centre of the lid using the same flat brush

When the eyes where finished I then applied a black kohl pencil to the upper and lower waterline to really intensify everything and give it that smokey look.

and going back in with the Inglot 306 and 355 into the lower lash line blending both out. Then applying a black mascara

Face:

I applied my Kat Von D Lock It Foundation using a Blank Canvas Cosmetics F21 brush

Then to Highlight and Contour I used NYX Mineral Foundation sticks in shades 02, and 09
blending them out using and Inglot 4SS brush

Then to "Bake" I used a translucent powder and a beauty blender and packed it onto the highlighted areas and just below cheek bones above the jaw bone also

To set contour and give it more of a defined look I applied the darker matt bronze shade to just below the cheek bones, temples, hairline, and under the jaw and chin using a Blank Canvas Cosmetics brush

Then to blend out the contour on the cheeks I applied the lighter shade to just above the contour and really working the colour into the skin using a Nima Blaithin brush
(this is perfect for anyone with a round shaped face as it slims it down)

Using the Nima brush i applied the darker shad of blush to the apples of the cheeks

To highlight then I applied the lightest shimmer shade of the quad and placed it just above the cheek bones and around the temples slightly
(this is a perfect highlighting shade for a day time look)

To really intensify the highlight I applied the same Natural Collections White Opal just above the highlight using my finger to really make it pop

Then to set everything I sprayed the entire face a couple of times using Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray

Lips:

For the lips I used Pennys/Primark PS...Love range lip liner in nude and NYX liquid lipstick in Sandstorm

I hope you like this weeks look and if you plan on trying it out of picking up any of the products I used please let me know :)

Valentune's Day Makeup Look

So every Tuesday I'm going to do a step by step makeup look over on Snapchat (lipstickglitz) is my Snapchat.

To start it all off this week I've done a Valentine's Day inspired look, here is the look I created

Before you do your makeup you should always have a good skincare regime and make sure your skin in nice and clean and prepped.
I cleansed the skin with this amazing Organic Surge Hot Cloth Cleanser

Then I applied this moisturiser to my face.... Aveeno Moisturising Lotion and allowed to set for 5/10 mins before moving onto the next step

Then I sprayed my face with Urban Decay B6 prep spray.. this reduces any redness and closed pores. I love this!!

Then I primed my eyes with COVER FX eye soothing primer over the entire lid and under the eye

Once the skin is prepped I then moved onto the brows. I always do my brows before I do anything else with makeup.

I used Inglot's Brow Gel in no.15 and the 17TL brush

Then for the eyes I used
Inglot 335 shadow for transition colour

Catrice Lilac Maniac into the crease

Inglot 450 to warm up the crease using a Inglot 6SS brush

Then when everything was applied and blended I went back over everything again with a clean 6SS brush. This was to insure all lines and colours where blended nice and looking clean

Then to warm everything up and give it that smokey look I used
Inglot 325 applied to the inner and outer corners of the eye

I applied 1985 from the Urban Decay Vice Palette onto the centre of the lid

and Inglot Sparkle Dust in the shade 111 pressed on top

using the Inglot 9S brush

Then applied Inglot 63 to the outer and inner corners
and Inglot 450 back over it and blended out into crease

Using the Blank Canvas Cosmetics E42 brush

After that I then moved onto the face and come back to the eyes after I have set and baking the foundation
To start I primed the face using NYX Pore Filler and applied all over face

Then I use Cover FX foundation in the shade P30

using the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F21 brush in circular and patting motions all over face

After that I highlighted under the eyes, bridge of the nose, cupids bow and centre of the forehead using Cover FX Cream Concealer in the shade Light

and blended all of highlight in using a Sephora Beauty Blender

Once the highlight was blended I then used the "baking" method to set highlight using Laura Mercier translucent powder and the beauty blender

here is how "baking" looks

While the baking is taking place I went back in and done the winged liner and blended shadow into the lower lash line
For the winged liner I used Inglot Gel Liner in shade 77 with a drop of Duraline to intensify the black, applying it with a 31TL brush from Inglot also

Once liner was done I blended the transition colour 355 from Inglot into the lower lash line

and Inglot 450 on top of transition to intensify and even things out using a Sephora small shadow brush

When the eyes where done I brushed off the excess powder from the "baking" and contoured the face using the NYX Contour and Highlighting powder palette and a small NYX Contour brush

This was the shade I used to contour... it was the second one on the right
and applied to the cheek bones, temples, jaw line and around forehead

Then I contoured the nose using a Inglot 4SS brush and the same shade of contour

To blend out the contour I always use this Inglot deep blush shade its that old the number has worn away but I blend it over the contour and up above this slims down the face :)
Using the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F14 brush
Then I applied Mac Peaches & Cream to the apples of the cheeks using the same brush
Then to highlight I use Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop and a Blank Canvas Cosmetics F15 brush and applied it just above cheek bones and above brow

Once the face is done I applied false lashes. These are Penny/Primark Sultry Lashes
I applied the lashes using Duo Latex Free Glue

Then for the lips I used a lip liner and liquid lipstick
Lip liner is Penny/Primark PS Love range in Plum and L.A Splash liquid lipstick

Here is a small video of the finished look

Let me know what you think of the look... would you wear it?
